If you’re seeking a cheap Antarctica deal and are flexible, consider travelling in the early season or late season to avoid peak season pricing. Some ships also offer last minute deals if they still have berths available prior to the departure date. If you’re willing to sacrifice popular upgrades like a private balcony or window, you may be able to score a good deal on an entry-level cabin as well. 

Expedition pricing varies based on a number of factors, including the ship, departure date, cabin type, and duration. However, tried and true expedition vessels such as the Ocean Nova and the MV Ushuaia offer incredible immersive experiences and may be more affordable than some of the newer Polar ships.

The early season of late October and early November or the late season, towards the end of March, is often a good time to find cheaper Antarctic cruises. The weather may be a little more unpredictable, but you’ll still enjoy the epic wildlife and landscapes that draw visitors to Antarctica.
